*EBIDTA growth has come in the form of steady occupancy growth, managed professionally as to not overwhelm the centres, 1 of which being fairly new.
These stunning Fully Managed centres (with a GM also overseeing all centre Managers) are flourishing after years of dedicated efforts to ensure these are premium NZ centres. It is a small yet premium group of centres, where the model can easily be expanded upon. The vendors have painstakingly ensured over the years these are managed ‘right’ without trying to overfill them quickly to ensure the centres longevity.
In light of this, children come from all over to attend the daycares (well outside what is considered normal travel for children).
On $2.6M a childcare group would likely sell for around $13.5M (5.2x EBIDTA). If a sale is concluded within the next 3-6 months, we can sell the business using a combination of the 25 actuals and 26 forecast (which the vendor can prove up to the current week its performance).
Possible deal structure. 50% paid upon the 25 EBIDTA, and 50% paid upon the 26 EBIDTA being realised.
Vendor will maintain the business until final settlement May 2026. This gives an investor a solid mentor/ learning phase for the business also.
These are crème de le crème centres in NZ with a fantastic reputation, solid staffing and solid occupancy (some have large wait lists).
